Come with us and explore Uganda’s largest and oldest of all National Parks, with a chance of spotting the big five. Its renowned by the famous Murchison falls, where the rushing waters of the Nile being forced through a narrow gorge of 7-8 meters producing a sound that you never forget. This park has the highest number of animals that provide the very best of the experience in Africa.
Itinerary
Meeting at an agreed place by 7:00am, briefing then start the 6 to 8 hours’ journey including some interesting stops. Enjoy a hearty lunch on the way and proceed to Pakwachi arriving late afternoon and check in at Bwana Tembo Camp on the river banks of the White Nile. The beautiful views of the place welcome you with chances of spotting wildlife cooling off already in the river and with luck elephants as well. Dinner and Overnight at Bwana Tembo Safari Camp.
Highlights of the Day include but not limited to a Game Drive, View of the Top of Falls, Lunch and Boat Cruise on the Nile. Program: Early morning breakfast then enter the park by 7:00am to embark on the early morning game drive in one of the best game tracks with hopes of seeing some of the big five including lions, buffaloes and elephants. Giraffes may be sighted, small antelopes like Olibi, impalas and primates like the baboons and monkeys. After the game drive cross over to the southern bank and drive to the ‘Top of the Falls’ - View the spectacular falls where the Nile perfects its beautiful falls creating a thunderous roar, breathtaking views and good spots for memorable photos. Thereafter return back to a hearty welcoming lunch at Red Chilli Restaurant and relax here as you wait for the afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile River. The boat cruise takes us to the bottom of the falls, and here we may be lucky to find some of the wild animals that come to drink water and cool off, Hippo schools, Crocodiles, Birds and Monitor lizards plus other marine may be sighted. Early evening head back to your Lodge, for Dinner and overnight. Bwana Tembo.
Early breakfast, check out and then head back to Kampala loaded with memories and so many stories to tell. Stops for lunch and also at interesting spots will be given then drop off at agreed starting point and seen off.
