Day 01: Arrival - Arusha

Travel/activity: Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport meet and greet by our guide then transfer to Arusha accommodation.

Arusha City  Descriptions: Arusha is a city in East Africa’s Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It’s a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa’s highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast.

Day 02: Tarangire national Park

Travel/activity: Depart Arusha after breakfast drive to Tarangire National park , for a full day  game drive in the park evening drive to the lodge.

Descriptions: The Park Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.

Day 03: Serengeti National Park ( South Ndutu Area )

Travel/activity: Breakfast at the Lodge/ camp drive to Ndutu Area  a full day game drive at    Ndutu Area  for the wildebeest migtaion viewing  evening back to the camp for dinner and overnight

Serengeti National park Description: Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. Late afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.

Day 04: Serengeti National Park ( South Ndutu Area )

Travel/activity: Breakfast at the Lodge/ camp a full day game drive at Ndutu Area  for the wildebeest migration viewing late evening  drive back the camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight

Ndutu Area Description: Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world famous Serengeti short grass plains. See great herds of wildebeest and zebra. During a short time frame around February, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy pickings for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.

Day 05: Serengeti National Park ( Migration viewing ) Central Seronera

Travel/activity: Breakfast at the Lodge / camp drive to central ‘Serengeti  for  a full day game drive   viewing late afternoon  drive to Serengeti central (Seronera).

Serengeti National park Description: Serengeti national Park.. the park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the “big five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African Leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen in the Seronera region but are present throughout the national park with the population at around 1,000. African Elephant.

Day 06: Serengeti National Park Central (Seronera Area)

Travel/activity: After breakfast  a full  day game drive in central Serengeti  Central  Serengeti   National park , Seronera Area ,evening back to the lodge /camp for a dinner and overnight

The Serengeti is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas, which altogether make up some 14% of the country’s land area, a conservation record that few other countries can match.

Day 07: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Travel/activity: After breakfast, a morning   game drive to  Ngorongoro for the full day  crater tour  ,late afternoon drive back to the lodge.

Ngorongoro Concervation Area Description: The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest un flooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. .

Day 08: Lake Manyara National Park Mto wa Mbu Walking safari – Departure

Travel/activity: Depart after breakfast  for the game drive at lake manyara National park , afternoon   cultural tour  at mto wa mbu for the  drive to Arusha  drop back off to the Arusha airport  for your flight to Zanzibar/Home

Lake Manyara  National Park Descriptions: Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

Mto wa Mbu Descriptions: Mto Wa Mbu Village has a very active cultural programme that seeks to show visitors the traditional way of life of the villagers through various activities and also a range of community projects that are in place. You can visit top spots in the area, taste Tanzanian foods and experience authentic cultural interaction. There are a number of excellent walking, hiking and biking tours offered in the village ranging in length from a couple of hours to a full day.
